What a wonderful term it has been here at Nyewood CE Infant School. 

There has been so much fun and enjoyment in learning this term and it is fabulous to see the progress the children have made. 

Over the last few weeks we have enjoyed many super festive events in the lead up to this special time of year. The children's class Christmas worships have been amazing and our carol service was such a special time to come together and share in the wonder of the season. They have certainly reminded us all of the true, special message of Christmas.

We also enjoyed an excellent Christmas fair this year thanks to our fabulous fundraising committee! We raised over £1400 at this event which will go a long way in subsidising school trips and providing resources for our children this year! We also raised over £170 in our 'Bag 2 School' event. Thank you all so much for your generosity and kindness.  

Thank you to all who were able to attend these school events - it has been wonderful to welcome so many of you into the school at this time. 

As we come to the end of this term, and the end of 2023, I would like to wish you all a peaceful Christmas, full of joy and wonder, and a very happy new year. 

We look forward to seeing you all back in school on Wednesday 3 January 2024!
