Nyewood CE Infant School
Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God
This week, we celebrated World Book Day!
We all dressed as adjectives and the variety of costumes in Hawthorn Class were fantastic! Some of the describing word costumes chosen in our class included, funny, sleepy, sporty, sparkly, strong, magical, heroic and brave.
On the day, we all spent time creating our very own beautiful story books, aiming to use as many adjectives within them as we possibly could.
Why not ask your child what their story was about?
We all shared our books in class and some children were given the opportunity to share their stories with the whole school, in a collective worship at the end of the day...
Even the grown ups got involved by dressing up and creating their own story books! Miss Faulkner dressed as ‘curly’ and Mrs Slingo was ‘fragile’!
Thank you all for your efforts in putting together such beautiful adjective costumes. Everyone in the Nyewood Family had a brilliant World Book Day.
