This week we had our terrific take-off. We started the week by recieving an object which we had to work out what it was. We had a close look and discovered it was a type writer. We then used an app called Texter to use story writing to create pictures just like Elliott does in the story. 

We have been using puppets, story cards and drama to retell the story as well as using our role play area to read and share familiar fairytales and stories. 

In maths, we have been looking at fractions and learning to write them. We have been shading given shapes as well as matching equivalent fractions. We have been thinking carefully about how the parts of a fraction need to be equal.
