Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God

Muddy Monday

On Monday we had our session in the Woodland area. We headed outside and looked around for signs of spring, such as new plant life. We looked closely at the pond area where we noticed lots of frog spawn that we are excited about, to keep an eye on when they turn into tadpoles and finally, frogs. We were also very lucky as Mrs Merrick made us a camp fire, and we learnt to make fire bread. We mixed flour with yogurt, rolled it into balls and flattened it into a pancake and cooked it in a pan on the fire. After our time in the woodland, we tried the bread we had made. Some of us thought it was very tasty and some of us were not that keen.

Today we had a real laugh as we came to school dressed in 'something funny for money' to fundraise for Red Nose Day. We had people with odd socks, crazy hair and some even had their clothes on backwards.
