Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God

Full, Empty or Half Full?

This week we have had a very busy week in maths. We have been thinking about all measurement. We started by using rulers to measure length and height, then used thermometers to record temperature, scales to record weight and then finally jugs and cylinders to measure capacity. We have been learning the skill of making estimations and comparing measurements using more than or less than signs.

In writing, we became authors, writing our very own versions of the Story Machine. We then used laptops to create front covers for our books. We have been learning and practising how to copy and paste and format text and images.
