We hope you all had a great Easter holiday and are ready for a busy but exciting summer term.

This week we have had lots of fun diving into our new topic 'Deep Blue Sea'. Not only have we had our exciting trip to the Blue Reef aquarium, we have also been busy in class developing our role-play area, using the tough tray beach for role play, reading fiction books all about sea creatures and familiarising ourselves with our new text 'The Storm Whale'. 

 We had a fantastic trip to the aquarium and Miss Holmes was really impressed with our excellent behaviour. We had a brilliant talk from an aquarist all about habitats and adaptations, we watched the sting rays get fed and saw hundreds of different types of fish, we even saw sharks!
