We have had a very busy half-term.  In mathematics, we have been learning about different measurements (length, capacity and volume) and money (adding amounts and working out change).  In writing we were thinking about poetry at the start of the term, but have recently been working on spelling common words and using conjunctions and contractions.  In science, we are learning all about plants - what different parts are called and what they need to be healthy.  In RSHE we have been learning about medicines and when it is okay for us to take them (ONLY with our grown-ups telling us we can) and we have been learning some songs ready for our Year 2 leavers' worship.

After the half-term break, there are quite a few events coming up.  Please check the dates list that we previously published for information on sports day, our summer fair, beach trip and leavers' worship, as well as other school events.
