Isn't it incredible that we have been together in Apple Class for 7 weeks?

We have had a very busy half-term getting to know each other and getting used to doing the work that is required in Year 2. 

Thank you to those of you that walked with us to church for our Harvest Worship, and to those that attended and showed your support - Apple Class hope that you enjoyed our fabulous singing.

In our lessons, we have been learning about adjectives and sentence structures in our writing lessons, learning about looking after our bodies (including sleep, healthy eating and exercise) in our sciences lessons, and hope to keep ourselves safe, relationships and friendships in RSHE.

In maths lessons, we have been working on how numbers are made (using tens and ones) and the simple ways that we can remember our number bonds to 10, using addition and subtraction.  Here is a link to a website that will be able to provide your children with some challenge or support at the things we have been learning in maths.
