What a great week of writing. The children have worked really hard making sure their writing includes tricky words (words we can't sound out) and contracted forms such as I'm and wouldn't. Children verbally said their sentences to their talk partners and then wrote them down. We are also making sure are letters are formed correctly and sitting on the line. Also we needed to write about pirates! So much to fit into our sentences but I was so amazed at how well the children worked. Well done Chestnut class!
