Recently in maths, we’ve been learning all about time. The class are becoming pros at reading o’clock and half-past times on the clock. They’ve also been exploring the days of the week and the months of the year, practising how to order them. We’ve had lots of hands-on activities, including matching games, making their own clocks, and even singing songs to help them remember the days and months.

In writing, we’ve been working on publishing our very own versions of Jack and the Beanstalk! After lots of planning, writing, and illustrating, everyone shared their stories with the class.

Alongside all this fantastic learning, we’ve been getting ready for our upcoming Christmas Carol Service at the church! The children have been practising their singing and learning the words to some beautiful carols. They’re very excited to perform and can’t wait to share the festive joy with our Nyewood family.
