Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God
Happy half term!
Please enter an introduction for your blog post here.
What an amazing half term we have had learning all about the Great Fire of London! We have been busy exploring this fascinating event through lots of different subjects.
In PE, we used our bodies to create a dance that told the story of the fire. We moved like flickering flames, crackling wood, and even like the people trying to escape! It was so much fun working together to bring the fire to life through movement.
In Writing, we became historians and wrote our very own diary entries, just like Samuel Pepys! We imagined what it would have been like to wake up and see the fire spreading through London.
In DT, we got creative and built our own Tudor houses! We carefully designed them to look just like the real houses from 1666, with wooden beams and straw roofs.
In Maths, we have been learning all about division! We used objects and drawings to help us share numbers into equal groups. We had a go at sharing into halves and quarters.
We have learnt so much this half term, and we can't wait to show you all our learning in our upcoming class worship!
