This week in the Orchard we have been helping the astronauts with their training.
We have helped with putting the planets back in order.
In Maths this week we helped the astronauts pair their socks, counting in 2s.
The astronauts were so happy with us they sent us some reading critters that we shared our stories with.
We look forward to helping the astronauts more next week.
In the Orchard we have been enjoying our learning about the planets. We have all made a planet each for our wall display. We are very proud of our space display. We are hoping to add more information about our learning in the next few weeks.

Along with making planets, we have been building rockets that might go to the moon.
We have all enjoyed making our space station outside, making it big enough for everyone to read inside.
This week we have been chatting lots about the weather and space.
We all enjoyed the snowfall and exploring the outside as it was falling to the ground. Chatting lots about the different types of weather and the seasons.
Along with the weather, we enjoyed the spaceship crash landing on the school grounds and setting us off onto our new topic 'Out of this World'.
This term we are looking at Space by reading the Qpoodle 5 book and discovering lots about the different planets. In the Orchard we enjoyed making a planets with playdough and chalk pictures of the different planets.
This week in The Orchard we have been learning with our friends how to share and have fun.
This week we have been enjoying our learning with a Christmas twist.
We have been helping Father Christmas measure his Elves by lining them up in height order.
We have also enjoyed making a Christmas Tree from sticks and wool.
In our phonics lesson we learnt the words I, is, the, to, and, he.
We are busy working on our Class Worship film which we hope you enjoy next week.
This week we have all been learning about clocks and telling the time.
We started the week by making our own clock and ended with telling the time using the half past and o'clock phases. 
We have been shopping this week.
This week we have explored our topic of 'The World Around Us' by train.
This week has been bus journeys and Remembrance Day. Looking at our new topic 'The World Around Us'
