Nyewood CE Infant School
Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God
Another super week!
What an exciting week of learning at Nyewood Infant School!
Goodness, where has the time gone! I can't quite believe we are at the end of our second week already. What a fantastic week it's been too!
I have thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the children across the school and have been so impressed with the super learning happening!
Our new Early Years children have had a brilliant week and I have been particularly amazed by the fantastic junk models that have been constructed. I know many grown-ups at home were very pleased to see these coming out at the end of the day!
Miss Adlam and I have also enjoyed working with the children in the EYFS on their phonics (letters and sounds) this week. The children have met Sam the cat (you can see him in our picture above) who helps us with our phonics learning.
This Sunday, 16th September, is our Family Eucharist service at St Wilfrid's Church. We would love to see you all there where some of our children will be sharing their Harvest learning.
Don't forget, on Wednesday 19th September we have our Year 1 and 2 Harvest Service at St Wilfrid's Church - everyone is welcome!
Have a lovely weekend!
