Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God
EYFS Home Learning
A new kind of adventure is about to begin...
We hope you are keeping well and managed to enjoy the sunny weekend.
We are writing to give you your learning tasks for Monday, so here goes...
In the EYFS, we love story telling and we know that lots of you love it too. So for reading, we would like you to read a familiar story from your book shelf at home. If you can't find a book, worry not, think about the stories we have shared at school. Can you act it out with members of your family? Can you choose different people to play the different characters?
In writing can you draw some pictures of the characters from your story, can you label them? Don’t forget to use your sounds to help your spelling!
In mathematics, can you order the number tiles we gave you? Can you use them to help you to count forwards and backwards? If you can beat 20, can you make your own number tiles?
Something else you might like to do is play a board game with your family? Don't worry if you don't have one...you could make your own? Ask your grown ups or a big brother or sister to help you to make your very own game of snakes and ladders.
P.S We couldn't overlook how much you love our morning Wake Up, Shake Ups, so ask your grown up for help accessing the link below.
You Tube – Just Dance videos (known to the children as Wake and Shake)
Enjoy your first day of home learning.
Keep safe and well and we will be in touch tomorrow with Tuesday's leanring.
