Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God

Cherry Class Blog

It's hard to believe but we are already at the end of our first half term. Cherry Class have had a really busy week. We finished off our Bear Hunt display by making a bear; " It's got two fluffy ears," said Christopher, "And a shiny wet nose," added Bethany. "Two goggly eyes," Emma finished off the description. The children really enjoyed re-telling "We're going on a Bear Hunt," acting it out with their friends.

We've been celebrating Black History Week and on Wednesday we had a special treat when a real live Samba Dancer came in to school to teach us some carnival dancing. We all made carnival hats and joined in the Samba. We also had a go at Limbo dancing.

We also had a super learning time in our woodland area, exploring the plants and minibeasts we could find there.

Enjoy the half-term holiday!
