Today’s fitness challenge:

Pretend you have a hula-hoop and see how many different ways you can move your body with your pretend hoop! Can you move it around your hips? What about your arms?

 

Welcome to our first KS1 project week!

We are going to be looking at all things animal. This week your child will focus on learning about their favourite animal, this could be a pet or it could be a wild animal.

Throughout the week we will be posting different ideas of activities you could do about your child’s chosen animal.

Therefore, for this weeks learning you will need;

  1. Access to the internet
  2. Craft materials
  3. Pens, paper, paint

So starting today please can your child choose their favourite animal. They can then start researching this animal. You can do this on the internet or do you have any animals books at home you can you look at? Don’t forget if you are using the internet stop and think first about all of your e-safety lessons.

By the end of the week the children will have created their own information collection about this animal. This can be done in ANY way. Could they make a poster? Or perhaps an animal booklet? Or could you make your own animal documentary and film it to put on our Nyewood CofE Infant Facebook page.
