Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God
Friday 3rd April
Yesterday in school, we continued writing letters to our everyday heroes, we thought of some that have less recognition such as pilots, post people and farmers. We then completed our R.E learning by making a poster all about Easter and why it is important to Christians. We then went outside into the sunshine and practised writing our spellings in chalk and then used paintbrushes and water to practise writing them lots of times. We also enjoyed a game of football with Mr Finnear.
We hope you are enjoying your home learning, please find todays home learning below.
In reading this week we will be focusing on the super six skill of Making Connections. Using a book of your choice, have a go at making connections between the story and your own experiences.
Have you watched a film with a similar character in?
Have you watched a film with a similar setting?

Using the skills you have learnt over the past two weeks, write a diary entry about what you have been doing. This is just like writing a letter but instead of writing it to another person, it’s to your diary!
In mathematics today, we would like you to play the games below to practise measuring objects. The activities below are at three levels, pick the level that you think is best for you
Blue – Can you measure objects around your home.
Yellow - Can you measure objects around your home. Can you find things longer than your arm, or shorter than your hand?
Red - Can you measure objects around your home. Can you order the lengths you have measured?
Today’s topic lesson is about physical development.
