Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God

Terrific Take-Off!

This week we have started our new topic - The world around us. We kicked this off with a terrific take-off trip to Bognor Regis Museum! In the museum we explored photos, maps, models, old technology and lots more all about our town's history. We enjoyed dressing up in some 1920s fashion, typing our names with morse code, listening to the WW2 air raid sounds and exploring what our seaside used to look like. We had the best time!
(Thank you to all grown-ups who donated their time to help us on the trip!).

In maths this week, we have continued our learning about shapes. We have been learning about different 3D shapes; what their names are, how we can identify them and comparing them to things in the classroom. Hawthorn Class really enjoyed making their own 3D shapes with the Polydron construction.

Rehearsals for our Christmas Worship have begun this week and it is looking good so far! Scripts will be sent home soon, so keep an eye out, so you can get some practise in at home too. We can't wait for you to watch us perform on the 8th December.
