We have had a very fun but busy week!
On Tuesday we had Expressive Art and Design day. We spent the morning creating aboriginal animal paintings using the ends of paintbrushes to create spots. We then went outside and created some Rangoli patterns using chalks. We loved looking at the art from around the world but our favourite part of the day was listening to the music. Lots of us recognised the Nutcracker music, we took our pens for a walk thinking about the rhythm.
On Thursday it was world book day. We spent the morning listening to stories and we reviewed the books, writing about our favourite parts and drawing characters. We then became illustrators and learnt how to draw the gruffalo and the BFG.
We were all very good at making book marks and these came in very handy during our stop, drop and read sessions as we could mark where we had got to in the story.
We have had a great week but are so excited for next week to come, when we will all be back together as the Hazel family :D
