Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God
Tests, animals and lighthouses!
We have had a very busy week full of exciting learning!
Our year 2 family completed their final tests and have really impressed us with how hard they have been working.
In maths, we recapped learning to read an analogue clock and practised moving the hands round the clock to match a given time. We are becoming more confident and some of us can now read the clock to the nearest 5 minutes.
In Science, we have been learning about animals and thought about the different types of animals such as mammals, reptiles, amphibians and fish. We sorted animals into these categories and then thought about what their off springs look like.
In D.T we read the story of the lighthouse keepers lunch and began creating success criteria for making our very own lighthouses. We then designed our own thinking carefully about the shape, colour and purpose.
