This week we have been busy in our writing sessions learning about and recapping lots of our core skills. We began by looking at homophones and thought about how many different ones there were. We carefully spelt them and used them correctly in sentences. We then moved on to using conjunctions in our writing. Miss Holmes told us these were 'glue words' and they stick two sentences together. We have been using the words although, if, but, so and because. Finally, some of us learnt about possessive apostrophes and how we use them to show something is belonging to someone.
