EYFS Home Learning
Day 5: Friday 27th March
Well done, you've made it to Friday and survived your very first week of home learning - grown ups too :-)
So here are the final learning tasks for this week...
In reading, can you read back the sentences you have written and draw pictures to match each one? It will be like making your very own book. Perhaps when we are all back at school, you could bring these in to share in our class reading area? We would love to read them and know your friends will too.
In writing, continue to write your sentences to retell your story. You may have finished already, so make sure you read your writing back to ensure it makes sense. Does it have a beginning, middle and end? Don't forget to check it has punctuation including capital letters, finger spaces and full stops in the right places.
In maths, we would like you to continue your learning from yesterday. If you are super great at adding 2 numbers together, can you try recording some of your number sentences? Remember the symbols we have talked about in school + and = and what they mean.
Other Area of Learning: Can you make a list of all the technology you have in your home? Remote controls, phones, washing machines etc. You can ask your grown ups to scribe for you. If you are working by yourself, you might even like to go on a technology hunt around your home and draw the objects you find and label them. Why not write a sentence to explain what they are used for?
Don't forget to keep active... have you discovered a favourite 'Wake up Shake up' work out yet? If you have please ask your grown ups to share the link to our school's facebook page so we can all have a go!
Anyway, the weekend is upon us. Well done for this week and we will write to you next week with some more exciting learning tasks.
Take care, keep safe and be good for your grown ups (we know you will be).
Bye for now...
The EYFS Team.
