Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God

What is reflection?

This week in our worship times, we have been looking at reflection. During our class worship we took the fifteen minutes we have to discuss what reflection means. Then, we chose somewhere in the classroom to reflect in. We turned the lights out too and played some calm music. Most of us reflected on the choices we make.

Writing lessons have been filled with lots of new concepts! Some of us have learnt about adjectives, some of us have learnt about expanded noun phrases, some of us have learnt about verbs and some of us have learnt about adverbs too! We are working on making some lovely descriptive sentences with these words about knights!

In Mathematics this week we continued our learning about shapes. We sorted shapes into different groups after being confident in knowing the properties of 2D and 3D shapes! Next week we will be looking at patterns and symmetry in shapes!

One of our afternoons this week has been spent on the laptops making fact files about Arundel Castle. We typed up facts, changed the font size, style and colour and even imported the pictures we saved last week! Miss Rice was very impressed!
