Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God
What a great journey through space...
What a wonderful half term it has been! We have all loved learning about space and developing all of our wonderful skills.
Tuesday was ‘Safer Internet Day’. We celebrated this by learning about our identity. We learnt that everyone is different and that it is ok to all like different things and have different characteristics. We learnt how it felt to feel forced into liking something and we felt happier when we had the freedom to be us and do what we enjoyed. We made our own identity profiles and then colour coded what is safe about our identity to share online and what is not safe to share online. We made these into a class book to celebrate that everyone is different!

On Thursday we took part in our Fantastic Finish. We all designed parachutes to hold an egg and then tested them in the hall, dropping them from a height to see if it protected the egg or not! Some of ours cracked and some of them stayed whole! We also performed the song we had written and learnt to the other classes. It was great to hear the other classes too!
We hope everyone has a happy and healthy half term. When we return to school, our PE sessions will be on a Tuesday and a Wednesday.
