Another busy week for Apple Class.  We started the week with a terrific take-off - a small rocket seemed to have crash-landed on our playground - just like in our key book for this topic - "Q Pootle 5".

We have also had a visit from an author this week, Christine Chambers.  She read us her book "Red Fox Does What? Surely Not" and explained to us how the process of creating and writing a book is carried out.

We have been learning all about the moon landing this week.  This will be an ongoing theme running through some of our lessons this term as we work towards producing a newspaper article about the moon landing in our writing lessons.

We have also been recapping place value in mathematics, looking at seasonal change in science and talking about people that are special to us in RSHE.
