Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God
God's Wonderful World
This week we have spent a lot of time getting to know God's wonderful world. We have focused on the creatures in his world and really got to know them all! First we began the week by making wormeries! We also explored the woodland area, went on bug hunts, read non-fiction books, used playdoh and acted like different insects too!
In Mathematics we have been working hard to understand how to add two numbers together. We are now looking at subtraction. Perhaps you'd like to play a game at home to help? Addition and Subtraction Games (topmarks.co.uk)
In our Geography sessions we have been learning to understand human features. We have explored our school grounds and a map of the local area and will be exploring this further on our local walk trip next week!
Next Wednesday is a busy day for us as in the morning we have our first school trip - a local walk. Then in the afternoon it is our turn for woodland Wednesday! Don't forget to bring a change of clothes for the woodland area.
We would also like to share with you our Egyptian dance we made last week. You might have seen a clip of it, alongside our poem and other learning on the international week video that was put on Facebook, but here is the full video of one of our rehearsals...
