Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God
"That's one small step for Sycamore Class, one giant leap for mankind!"
A visit from Novium Museum and lots of lovely learning led by us!
On Thursday this week we were very interested in learning lots of space facts from our Novium Museum visitor. We had great fun trying on spacesuits and learning how to be an astronaut in training. Joshua tried a parachute and Henry and Magda cleaned some water, ready for drinking.
We found out that astronaut food is in a tin, like a cat and that they velcro their sleeping bags to the wall, so they don't float away when they are sleeping!
In class, we have been practising repeated addition and changing it into multiplication. Ask us to show you at home. We have also been writing in the past tense, using our 'ed' endings.
What a very busy week!
