The children have had another great week of learning. We have been learning to use scales and discuss what is heavy and what is light. Also we have been learning about capacity, using the vocabulary full, empty, half full, nearly empty. The children understood this vocabulary very quickly and were able to show me it outside in our maths learning.

This week we have started to look at poems, ready for next week to write our own poems. The children loved exploring poems and some were very keen to read a poem to the class which was amazing to see their confidence to do this.

We have also been learning about the Easter story and understanding the different parts of it. We are looking forward to showing you at the Easter service on Tuesday 26th March at 2.15pm at St Wilfrid Church.
