At Nyewood, our Humanities lessons are split between History and Geography.

In History, we talk about the past and about different significant people in the past. We look at the special things they did and why they were important. We talk about our own pasts and how things change during our lives. We also get to look at special objects from the past!

In Geography we learn about where we live and all about God’s world. We talk about the different places in the UK and the seasons. We find out about the oceans and where different countries are. We talk about the temperature and why it is hot in some places and cold in others. Take a look at this game to find out more about the world. Make sure you ask an adult first.
